As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, Tanner provides affirming, compassionate primary care with a focus on whole-person health and clear, accessible education. He brings experience in chronic disease management and preventive care, along with a strong background in mental health across outpatient and inpatient settings. Tanner is skilled in gender-affirming care, HIV care, LGBTQ+ health, and mental health support, and he aims to create a welcoming space where every patient can thrive.

Tanner earned a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Brigham Young University (Provo, UT) and a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from A.T. Still University (Mesa, AZ) in 2019.

Outside the clinic, you’ll find him singing with the Phoenix Gay Men’s Chorus, traveling, swimming, hiking, and hosting game nights with friends—always championing community, language, and inclusive care.
