Top Frequently Asked Questions

If you think you might have been exposed within the last 72 hours, don’t wait! Call us at 602.595.8170 to get on Post-exposure Prophylaxis (PEP). We’re available Monday and Friday 8 AM – 4 PM and Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 8 AM – 6 PM. Learn more about PEP here.

The Prisma Community Care is open Monday and Friday 8am – 5pm and Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 8am – 7pm.

We take our last HIV/STI test 30 minutes before closing. If you think you might arrive an hour or less before we close, call 602.307.5330 to ask about testing availability.

Prisma Community Care accepts Medicare, Medicaid, AHCCCS, and most major commercial insurances. For those without insurance, the Prisma Community Care has low self-pay rates to ensure you can be seen.

At Prisma Community Care, we believe that everyone deserves access to quality healthcare, regardless of their financial situation. That’s why we offer a sliding fee scale for our services for those without insurance or those that are underinsured.

What is a Sliding Fee Scale?

  • A sliding fee scale adjusts the cost of healthcare services based on your income and ability to pay.
  • It ensures that individuals and families can receive essential medical care without facing financial barriers.

We offer HIV and STI testing at no-cost to you thanks to federal and state grant funding. Clinical testing is available by appointment with same-day appointments based on availability.

We also receive federal Title X Family Planning grant funds through Affirm. These funds enable us to provide family planning services at no-cost or low cost to uninsured, low-income individuals. Learn more here.
