Douglas earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada, and began his career as a Registered Nurse in medical-surgical and critical care settings. After relocating to Phoenix in 2022, he continued working in adult critical care in the ICU. He completed his Master of Science in Nursing–Family Nurse Practitioner at Grand Canyon University in October 2025.

Douglas has worked with patients from diverse backgrounds and completed clinical rotations at Prisma Community Care, where he developed skills in providing affirming, whole-person care. He is committed to compassionate, inclusive care that empowers patients to take an active role in their health and wellness. Outside of work, he enjoys biking, going to the gym, and spending time with friends, his husband, and their dog.
